The Lake of the Ozarks Baptist Association is a family of 28 Southern Baptist Churches nestled in the hills and communities near the Lake of the Ozarks in central Missouri. Though our faith is the same – we proclaim Christ, and Him crucified – we have a variety of sizes and expressions of our faith. Whether you are a resident, or one of the millions of visitors to the lake area, our churches are ready to help you find Christ, worship Him, and serve Him.
This year's meeting will be held Saturday, September 12th at Eldon First Baptist Church, 209 S. Aurora Street, from 9:00 AM-Noon followed by a carry-in dinner. The featured speaker will be Dr. Rick Seaton.
There are various church fish fries in our association:Blue Springs Baptist Church on Saturday, September 19th (4:00 PM--bring a side or dessert); Montgomery Baptist Church (1125 Boot Drive, Camdenton, MO) on Saturday, September 26th (3:00-5:00 PM) and Brumley Baptist Church on Sunday, September 27th after church.
Horseshoe Bend Baptist Church at 394 Duckhead Road in Lake Ozark is hosting a Sunday School Rally beginning with a meal at 6:00 PM on SEPTEMBER 22, 2026. Dr. Timothy Faber will present "Value of Sunday School" followed by age specific breakout sessions (6:45-7:15 PM). Preschool/Children-Julie Enloe; Youth-Ethan Faber; Adults-Timothy Faber. From 7:15-7:45 PM you can choose one of the following sessions: Recruiting and Training Teachers-Ryan Anderson; Sunday School Beyond the Walls-Buddy Funk or How to Make SS Engaging-Wes Mayfield.
